Product environmental protection standards

• Limit standard of harmful substances three : It shall meet the requirements of EU RoHS directive, and shall not contain heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, mercury, and bromine flame retardants. For example, Zhejiang DB33/T609-2006 standard stipulates that lead (Pb)<300mg/kg, cadmium (Cd)<100mg/kg, mercury (Hg)<100mg/kg, chromium (Cr6+)<100mg/kg, and polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)+polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)<1000mg/kg.

• Combustion performance standard three : The smoke density of cable combustion meets the requirements of GB/T 17651-1998 standard, and the light transmittance is ≥ 60%. The halogen acid content test meets the requirements of GB/T 17650-1998 standard, with PH value ≥ 4.3, conductivity ≤ 10 μ s/mm, and toxicity index ≤ 3 to reduce the generation of harmful gases during combustion.

• Other standards one : Some manufacturers' products also need to comply with REACH regulations and control the substances of high concern (SVHC) in cables to ensure that the impact of products on the environment and human health is minimized throughout the life cycle.

Environmental protection standards for production process

• Wastewater discharge standard two : Implement relevant local standards, such as the Water Pollutant Discharge Limits (DB44/26-2001) of Guangdong Province. Domestic sewage is generally discharged into the sewage treatment plant through the municipal sewage pipe network in accordance with the Class III standard of the second period. If the cooling water is recycled and regularly discharged, this standard is also often implemented.

• Exhaust emission standard two : In the waste gas generated from extrusion, test and other processes, the organized emission of non methane total hydrocarbon usually follows the stricter values of the Integrated Emission Standard of Volatile Organic Compounds from Stationary Pollution Sources (DB44/2367-2022) and other standards, and the unorganized emission follows the limits of the Emission Standard of Pollutants for Synthetic Resin Industry (GB 31572-2015) and other standards. Hydrogen chloride and vinyl chloride shall comply with the second level standard and unorganized emission limit in the second period of the Emission Limit of Air Pollutants (DB44/27-2001) of Guangdong Province, and the odor concentration shall be discharged in accordance with the Emission Standard of Odor Pollutants.

• Noise emission standard two : The factory boundary noise shall comply with the Emission Standard for Industrial Enterprises Noise at Boundary (GB12348-2008), and the general industrial areas shall comply with the Class 2 or Class 3 standards, namely 60 or 65 decibels in the daytime and 50 or 55 decibels at night.

• Discharge standard of solid waste two : The disposal of general solid waste shall comply with the relevant regulations on the prevention and control of environmental pollution by solid waste. Hazardous wastes shall comply with the Standard for Pollution Control on Hazardous Waste Storage (GB18597-2023), and shall be collected and stored temporarily by classification, and shall be regularly consigned to qualified units for cleaning and disposal.
