Characteristics of fireproof cable:
1. The fire resistance performance is excellent, and the fire resistance rating exceeds the 1.5h combustion requirement of Class C 950 ℃~1000 ℃ specified in the British standard BS6387-1994. At the same time, it can withstand water spray and mechanical impact during combustion.
2. The continuous production length is long, whether it is single core or multi-core cable, its length can meet the demand of power supply length, and the length can reach more than 2000 meters. No joints are required in the middle.
3. Large cross section, single core cable cross section can reach 630mm2, multi-core cable can reach 240 mm2.
4. It is flexible, and the cable can be coiled on the cable reel, with the bending radius ＞ 20D.
5. It is non-toxic and smokeless when burning, and does not produce any harmful gas after burning. It is an environmental protection and green product.
6. Large overload capacity. The cable not only has large current carrying capacity, but also has large overload capacity. The allowable working temperature of the cable under overload is 250 ℃.
7. Good corrosion resistance. Inorganic mineral insulated fireproof cable adopts copper sheath, which does not need to be threaded. The copper sheath has good corrosion resistance.

Applicable scope of fireproof cable:
It mainly includes power supply for fire fighting equipment, power supply for fire elevator, places with high ambient temperature, power supply for equipment and lighting system in buildings or densely populated buildings, places requiring special sanitation, important inflammable and explosive places, etc.
Use characteristics of fireproof cable:
1. Voltage class: 0.6/1kV, working voltage light load 500V, heavy load 750V.
2. Working environment: the long-term working temperature is 70 ℃ for the sheath; The long-term working temperature of mineral insulated cables in the places where no one touches is 105 ℃.
3. Bending radius: the allowable minimum bending radius is ≥ 20D.
Requirements for use of fireproof cable:
1. Installation conditions: It is suitable for open laying by ladder, or cable tray laying or embedding. A single core is not suitable for passing through metal pipes.

3. Precautions: cable support and fixation

C、 For laying in cable tray, the allowable span of fixed cable can refer to items a and b.
D、 The bending radius of the cable is 20D (outer diameter of the cable).
E、 The fixation of single core cable shall not be made of high magnetic conductivity materials with magnetic closure, such as binding with iron wire, but can be fixed with non-magnetic materials or magnetic unclosed magnetic components.
F、 The mechanical strength of the fixed components of the single core cable shall be checked and calculated according to the short circuit electrodynamic conditions. The fixed spacing shall avoid AC vibration and noise.
G、 Hacksaw and tools that are easy to produce metal chips or burrs are strictly prohibited for splitting cable copper sheath.
H、 It is strictly prohibited to embed metal and burr into inorganic insulating materials at the stripped joints of cables.
